Timothy Bradley: Your New WBC-WBO Champ

Just wanted to send out a quick congratulations to USANA-sponsored boxer Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley, who earned a unanimous decision victory last night over Kendall Holt.

Bradley, who won a 140-pound WBC championship last May, added Holt's WBO light welterweight belt to his trophy case. Bradley recovered from a first-round knockdown (and another knockdown in the 12th) to improve to 24-0.

Bradley, a California-based USANA Associate, fought a great fight. He seemed much more aggressive than Holt. Here's a recap from the Associated Press, via USA Today. This ESPN.com article calls Bradley "a major player" at 140 pounds.

Here's what George Kimball writes in the ESPN.com piece:

"Put it this way: The presence of Manny Pacquiao, Ricky Hatton, Juan Urango, Nate Campbell and the suddenly resurgent Randall Bailey has been enough to bring Floyd Mayweather Jr. back to the gym, but among that impressive array, Bradley is the only guy who has two belts."
