If you're a regular reader of What's Up, USANA?, you already know that Jason and I are experts at hosting a Sensé Spa Party.Well, maybe not...
But Melissa Smith, USANA's Senior Marketing Manager for Sensé, understands exactly what it takes to host a successful party and how beneficial they can be in helping to build a USANA business.
She is on a whirlwind tour right now attending parties in California and Chicago. Melissa took a few minutes to give What's Up, USANA? readers an inside look at the Sensé Spa Party Fall Tour.
Melissa writes:
Marie Bertrand and I are in the middle of a Spa Party Fall Tour "marathon" this week with four back-to-back events. For more information about Sensé Spa Parties, please log onto USANAtoday.com.
Last night we hit San Diego with 200+ people — mostly guests learning about Sensé and USANA for the first time. These Spa Party Tour events are absolutely exhilarating! We partner with local leaders to organize the event, in turn jump-starting Spa Parties in their area.
Typically the leader will sell tables of 10 seats to Associates, who then invite guests to experience a Sensé spa facial. Each table has a set of Deluxe Pack products, mirrors, and for each guest, a Sensé brochure, headband, and cotton round.
Guests have an unforgettable experience applying the products as Marie guides them step-by-step through the facial.I’m convinced that the secret to selling Sensé is in trying the products, and Spa Parties serve as a great door opener. They attract mainly women (but men are welcome, too!) who come to learn about a skin-care line that promises healthy-looking skin.
This organically leads into introducing superior-quality nutritional and weight management products for a healthy lifestyle, and sharing a way to get these products to pay for themselves.
On the Spa Party Tour, we emphasize closing the sale by setting sales targets for each table host. It's inspiring to see the table hosts discussing the products and the USANA opportunity with their guests, and having great success at it! The key is practice, practice, practice. Like everything, the more you do it, the better you get.
Tonight we’re off to Orange County, Calif., where we are expecting 270 people. Then tomorrow we go to Chicago for two sold-out events where we're expecting 300 at each.
I can't wait to see what these Spa Parties bring!
