We have something really cool for you today. You may have read about Ridlon "Sharkman" Kiphart's adventures on previous posts (here, here, and here).Well, he recently sent us a pair of videos from his trip to the top of Cho Oyu. At 26,900 feet (8,200 meters), it's the sixth-highest mountain in the world!
The cool thing about the videos (other than the incredible determination and fitness it takes to accomplish such a climb) is that Ridlon credits USANA for helping him reach the summit.
As you'll see in the videos, he called the trek "Rev3-powered" and discussed the importance of proper nutrition. Ridlon says his supply of Nutrimeal and Nutrition Bars helped him on his journey.
"It's a huge challenge," Ridlon says. "There's probably nothing harder mentally, physically, and logistically than summitting an 8,000 meter peak."
As a bonus, the scenery is simply spectacular! Read more about the trip on his blog and be sure to follow him on Twitter @ridlon.
For now, enjoy the videos!
